A shelf that opens onto somewhere else

A book nook slots into the gap between two books and turns it into a lit scene. This one is built around a dragon, sculpted and cast in resin with translucent sections that carry the light through the piece rather than sitting flat against it.

Three styles, each with its own palette and mood:

• Fire — amber and ember red, the dragon coiled around a burning pass
• Forest — green and gold, an old woodland guardian half-covered in moss
• Nightmare — cold violet and black, the darkest of the three

Fits

Standard shelf depth, roughly the width of two hardbacks. Powered from the base.

Poured, cured and finished by hand in small batches. Every piece carries its own pattern of bubbles and colour, so no two are identical.
